When this happens, we will take all reasonable and lawful steps to resolve the matter in line with the CPA. Our goal is always for you to enjoy your order.
We ask that all communication remains calm, respectful, and solution-focused so that we can assist efficiently.
You may request a return only if:
You notify us within 7 days of receiving your order
The product is unused, unassembled, and in original packaging
All components (bolts, rails, accessories) are included and in resellable condition
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:
Custom-made or modified products
Painted or colour-treated shelving
Any non-standard configurations made to customer specifications
Used, assembled, altered, or damaged items
Products without original packaging
By placing such an order, you acknowledge that the product is made specifically for you and cannot be resold.
If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective:
You must notify us within 7 days of delivery
You must provide:
Clear photos of the item
Photos of packaging (outer and inner)
A short written description of the issue
Damage claims must include evidence at time of delivery
If no proof is provided, the claim may be declined
Our dispatch process includes quality checks and CCTV verification
Customers who choose courier delivery instead of collection accept that:
The courier is a third-party service provider
Risk may pass to the customer once the goods leave our premises (as permitted under the CPA)
Garage Guys does not accept liability for:
Courier damage
Delays or loss in transit
Courier handling or conduct
All courier-related claims must be supported by evidence on delivery.

Once received:
Inspection: 1–2 working days
Outcome: Replacement or store credit (in line with CPA)
Refunds are issued as store credit only, unless otherwise required by law
Delivery fees are non-refundable
Return courier costs are for the customer’s account
Garage Guys provides delivery and standard assembly only.
Assembly refers to construction of the shelving unit
Units are not fixed to walls or structures unless specifically requested
If installation, mounting, or fixing is requested:
This is done entirely at the customer’s risk and instruction
The customer confirms:
Surfaces are suitable and structurally sound
No hidden pipes, cables, or risks exist
🚨 Garage Guys accepts no liability whatsoever for:
Damage to walls, floors, ceilings, or property
Structural damage or failure
Installation performed at customer request
Any indirect or consequential loss
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
Measurements provided are accurate
Selected products are suitable for the intended space
If incorrect sizes are ordered based on customer measurements:
Garage Guys will assist where possible, however the following costs apply:
Collection or return courier fees
Labour charges for modifications (charged per hour)
Redelivery fees
Reassembly fees
All costs remain for the customer’s account.
Our products are DIY modular systems.
Please note:
Incorrect assembly, overloading, or misuse may cause damage
Damage after delivery is not considered a defect
Assembled or used items that are not defective cannot be returned
Returned items must be resolved within 5 working days after inspection
If no resolution or communication is received:
The item may be disposed of
No refund or credit will be issued
Garage Guys accepts no responsibility for storage.
This policy is applied in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under the CPA.
Where the CPA requires:
