This Delivery, Returns & Order Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Garage Guys (Pty) Ltd and must be read together with our Refund Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
All Garage Guys products are manufactured or prepared to order. Orders are typically processed within 10ā15 business days.
Delivery will take place within a reasonable time after dispatch, depending on your location.
In terms of South African law, suppliers must deliver within the agreed time or a reasonable period.
Delays may occur due to:
High order volumes
Load-shedding
Supplier or material delays
Courier or regional constraints
We will communicate any material delays.
R499 flat fee for orders below R7 999
FREE delivery for orders above R7 999 (standard areas only)
Additional charges may apply for:
Remote or outlying areas
Difficult access locations
You must provide a complete and accurate physical address.
We do not deliver to:
P.O. Boxes
Unverified or informal addresses
If delivery fails due to incorrect information:
Re-delivery and handling fees will be charged
You have the right to inspect goods on delivery.
If goods:
Are damaged
Do not match your order
Are not as reasonably expected
You may:
Refuse delivery immediately, or
Report within 48 hours
Under the CPA, consumers may reject goods that do not match what was agreed.
All goods are supplied with a 6-month implied warranty of quality.
If a product is:
Defective
Unsafe
Not fit for purpose
You are entitled to (your choice):
Repair
Replacement
Refund
within 6 months of delivery, at no cost to you.
Garage Guys will cover collection or return costs for valid claims.
South African law is clear:
š There is NO automatic right to return goods simply because you changed your mind.
Garage Guys may, at its discretion, allow returns subject to:
Goods unused and in original condition
Original packaging intact
Return requested within a reasonable time
Approved returns may be subject to:
Handling/restocking fees
Courier costs
Where applicable under law:
Consumers may cancel certain transactions within:
5 business days (CPA ā direct marketing) OR
7 days (ECTA ā online transactions)
Conditions:
Goods must be returned
You may be responsible for return shipping (if not defective)
Refunds will be processed as required by law
Orders may be cancelled before production begins.
Once:
Manufacturing has started, or
Goods have been dispatched
š Cancellation may not be possible, or a reasonable cancellation fee may apply (as allowed under the CPA).
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
Customer unavailability
Incorrect details
No access to premises
A re-delivery fee may apply.
All products are supplied flat-packed unless otherwise stated.
Garage Guys is not liable for:
Incorrect assembly
Misuse or overloading
Modifications
We currently deliver within the Republic of South Africa only.
All refunds are handled strictly in accordance with:
The Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA)
Our Refund Policy
Where a refund is due:
It will be processed using the original payment method
Within a reasonable period required by law
Nothing in this policy limits or overrides your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (68 of 2008).
Any provision that conflicts with applicable law will not apply.
