All standard shelves are 900mm wide.
Choose the depth that suits your space:
• 200mm deep

Each shelf is designed to fit neatly into Garage Guys modular uprights, giving you a clean, practical and strong storage level.
Quick tip: When adding shelves or accessories into the same bay, try to keep your depths matching. For example, if you are using a 400mm deep shelf, then choose 400mm deep accessories where possible, such as a matching Wine Rack Shelf or Single Clothing Rail Shelf.

Built from solid South African pine, these shelves are made for everyday, all-purpose storage.
They’re practical, affordable and designed to handle real life — whether you’re packing away tools, boxes, dry goods, stock, household items, garage gear, office supplies or business storage.
The shelf is made from pine slats with clean spacing between them, plus smoothed front and back edges for a neat, usable finish.

Need to build from scratch? Start with:
• Single Uprights for the outside ends of your shelving setup
• Double Uprights when expanding into 2, 3, 4 or more bays
• Cross Brace for extra stability where needed
• Single Shelves to add more storage levels
That’s the beauty of modular shelving — you can start small and keep adding as your space changes.

Our standard shelf width is 900mm, but if you need something shorter or more specific, we can help.
Need a shelf cut to 570mm, 700mm, 625mm ect or another custom width?
No stress at all.
Simply order the shelf size you need and add your exact custom width in the special instructions at checkout.

🧠 Equal Bays or Custom Bays?
When customising widths, it helps to think about how you want your bays to look.
For example, if your total space is around 1400mm wide, you could do:
• 700mm + 700mm for two equal bays
• 900mm + 500mm if you want one full-size bay and one smaller bay
Both can work beautifully — it just depends on your space, what you want to store, and whether you want a symmetrical layout or something more custom.

🔄 Changing Shelf Depths?
Want one bay at 300mm deep and another at 400mm, 500mm or 600mm deep?
That’s possible too.
If you’re stepping from one depth to another, you may need a Reducer Shelf so your setup lines up neatly and still looks clean.
This is ideal when you want your shelving to follow your space instead of forcing your space to follow the shelving.
